Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.
The Fv-FMG documents the information you give us about yourself when you buy a ticket for one of our events. We only keep and use the personal data that you provide directly or which is clearly known to us when it is submitted to us through any communication channel. We may collect the following information: name, contact information including email address and phone number, demographic information such as postal code, and information regarding your enrolment at the university, like your student number. We ask the student number of new members, because we have to prove to the University of Amsterdam that our members are actually registered as students.Details submitted by you are then under the responsibility of the Fv-FMG. We require this information to understand who the attendees to events are and to improve our events and activities according to your needs. Additionally, we use the information for the following reasons: internal record keeping, improving our services to send out confirmation emails for orders and to check if a user is a member with any of the 8 associations that the Fv-FMG consists of. This information will only be shared with those within the organization in charge of organizing the annual activity and party, board members or committee members or with external companies such as venues or the UvA.Your personal data will be stored on the secured servers of one.com, which are situated within the Netherlands.
During events Fv-FMG reserves the right to take photos and video content for promotion purposes. The content will only be used for promotional purposes of the Fv-FMG itself.
In case you do not wish to be photographed or if you do not want content of you to be uploaded online, you can contact us and we will make sure that this footage is not saved or distributed.
We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect
online. Information can only be accessed by board members and committee members who need to use the information for the purpose of why it is required.We use a secure connection (secure Sockets Layer, SSL) which protects all
information between you and our website when you enter personal data. Additionally, the server contains various firewalls to monitor DDOS attacks, hacker attempts and foreign traffic.
Lastly, we keep statistics on our website use, but this is done anonymously.
Email Content and Question Form
Members and individuals or organizations outside of the Fv-FMG can get in contact with us via email. Information discussed via these channels are saved on the website or archived in our email accounts. This is done because with
an annually changing board it is important to archive information discussed, in case this needs to be checked or used at a later point in time.In case you do not want us to keep certain conversations, you can contact us and
we will delete it from our archive.
