As study associations we provide the opportunity to purchase discounted course books through the Smartbooks company. We organize two pick up sales a year, while home delivery is open year long. Purchasing the books through us means right editions and lower prices guaranteed. The upcoming pick up book sale opens on the 26th of December and closes on the 19th of January. Individual associations will organize their pick up days in the week of 23rd to 27th January. Until the 15th of December members can drop off used books that they want to sell, Smartbooks will pick them up on the 16th and put them for sale for a lower price, if and when they get purchased the student will receive the money. In order to see how much money students would receive for the books, and to actually receive the money, they have to fill in a form on Smartbooks’ website (changes per association). Contact people for the book sale are Alessandro Colombo (CASA, email@example.com), Gijs Boomstra (Cominius) and Delfina Cerdan (Machiavelli). Each association has a contact person of their own responsible for their book sale: Marlo (Mercurius), Zita (Pegasus), Persephone (SEC), Jysk (Sarphati). These people have asked the teachers to fill in a form with the titles they want for the next semester. Updates from Smartbooks will follow before the Christmas holiday.
